LATTAFA ECLAIRE BODY SPRAY

Eclaire is the straightforward dessert scent in the Lattafa range, and the body spray is the sensible way to wear something this sweet. Caramel, milk and sugar open it, white flowers and honey sit in the middle, and vanilla, praline and musk close it. The Eau de Parfum is rich enough to be a lot in warm weather; the body spray is far more dilute, so it reads like scented skin rather than a dessert trolley and stays close for an hour or two. Two sizes are listed, and both carry the same scent.

Expert Answers

What does Eclaire Body Spray smell like?
It is the same scent as the Eau de Parfum — caramel, milk and sugar at the top, white flowers and honey through the middle, vanilla, praline and musk in the base. A body spray is far more dilute, so it reads lighter and sits closer to the skin.
How is a body spray different from the Eau de Parfum?
It carries the same fragrance at a much lower concentration. Expect an hour or two of wear sitting close to the skin, rather than the several hours an Eau de Parfum gives. In exchange the bottles are far larger and cheaper, and you can use it over the whole body instead of on pulse points.
How should I use it?
Hold it about a hand's width from the skin and spray over the chest, arms and neck straight after a shower, while the skin is still slightly warm. It absorbs faster then and the scent sits more evenly. Avoid spraying it onto clothing, where the oils can mark light fabric.
Can I layer it with the Eclaire Eau de Parfum?
Yes, and it is a common way to use both. Spray the body spray over the chest and arms first, let it dry, then apply the Eau de Parfum to the pulse points. The mist gives the scent a base across more skin, which helps it stay consistent for longer.
Is this the same as Eclaire Banoffi or Eclaire Pistache?
No. Banoffi is the banoffee-pie version and Pistache the pistachio one, both separate fragrances in the same Eclaire line. This body spray follows the original Eclaire, the caramel, milk and praline release. All three share the same can, so the name on the label is the only way to tell them apart.
