LATTAFA ANGHAM BODY SPRAY

Angham is the lavender-and-praline Lattafa, a gourmand that stays grown up rather than turning into dessert, and the body mist is a cheap way to wear it daily. Mandarin, ginger and pink pepper open it, praline, lavender, cacao and jasmine fill the middle, and vanilla, amber and musk close it. It is the same scent as the Eau de Parfum but far more dilute, so the cacao reads lighter and the lavender comes through more clearly. It is made to be sprayed across the body after a shower.

Expert Answers

What does Angham Body Spray smell like?
It is the same scent as the Eau de Parfum — mandarin, ginger and pink pepper at the top, praline, lavender, cacao and jasmine through the middle, vanilla, amber and musk in the base. A body spray is far more dilute, so it reads lighter and sits closer to the skin.
How is a body spray different from the Eau de Parfum?
It carries the same fragrance at a much lower concentration. Expect an hour or two of wear sitting close to the skin, rather than the several hours an Eau de Parfum gives. In exchange the bottles are far larger and cheaper, and you can use it over the whole body instead of on pulse points.
How should I use it?
Hold it about a hand's width from the skin and spray over the chest, arms and neck straight after a shower, while the skin is still slightly warm. It absorbs faster then and the scent sits more evenly. Avoid spraying it onto clothing, where the oils can mark light fabric.
Can I layer it with the Angham Eau de Parfum?
Yes, and it is a common way to use both. Spray the body spray over the chest and arms first, let it dry, then apply the Eau de Parfum to the pulse points. The mist gives the scent a base across more skin, which helps it stay consistent for longer.
What does the lavender do in a sweet fragrance?
It keeps it from becoming cloying. Praline and cacao on their own would read as straight dessert; the lavender adds a clean, slightly bitter herbal edge over the top, which is what lets Angham work as an everyday scent rather than only an evening one.
